Who We Are
MSC is based in Los Angeles and prides itself in being a smaller firm with “big agency” capabilities. Able to offer competitive rates without a lapse in service, MSC clients receive extraordinary treatment and counsel.
MSC is lead by Michelle Suzuki who has extensive experience in corporate communications, consumer marketing, crisis and reputation management, ethnic communications, public affairs, community relations and media relations. The extent of her professional experience includes both agency and in-house corporate experience.
After graduating from UCLA, Ms. Suzuki began her career as an educator in the Los Angeles Unified School district and took her passion for philanthropy and education to work with the United States Adaptive Resource Center as a watersports instructor and marketing manager.
After leaving the classroom, Ms. Suzuki worked for both small and large agencies most recently with Fleishman-Hillard, the world’s largest public relations agency. There, she gained valuable experience working on various corporate, marketing and public affairs accounts for clients such at SBC Communications, Mitsubishi Motors North America, United Airlines, Sony Computer Entertainment of America, and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.
On the corporate side, Ms. Suzuki served as marketing department manager for Clarion Sales Corporation, a Japanese car audio and electronics manufacturer. As head of the marketing department, Ms. Suzuki directed all corporate marketing activities for both retail and OEM (original equipment manufacturer) activities. Ms. Suzuki’s responsibilities included the strategic planning of all public relations, corporate communications, advertising, trade shows, promotions, on-line marketing communications and Web site design. Ms. Suzuki was instrumental in overseeing and developing the company’s first e-business solution.
A frequent company spokesperson, Ms. Suzuki has both on and off camera experience, including an appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show.
An active member of the Asian-American community, Ms. Suzuki is a member of the Asian American Journalists Association, the Asian American Advertising Federation, the Japanese American Citizen’s League, the Go For Broke Educational Foundation and currently serves on the executive board of the Nisei Week Foundation.
